Pat Kubala started Kubala Seeds over 60 years ago. Originally the business was solely focused on seed dressing of small seeds, notably Crested Dogstail.
Due to popular demand from farmers, Pat and his son Peter diversified the business into seed retail and became Southland's only independent seed retail outlet carrying high quality seeds cultivars, grains and brassicas, for dairy, sheep and deer pastures.
Peter and his team are considered seed experts and are always available to answer questions and offer free "useful advice" to farmers.
